General

WHAT IS HOMEBOX?

HOMEBOX is a quarterly subscription box based out of Calgary, Alberta and the Okanagan in British Columbia. When you subscribe, each quarter you’ll receive a box of trendy curated home accents and household goods from independent Canadian businesses.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUARTERLY AND ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION?

When you subscribe, you’ll have the option  to be billed quarterly or annually for your membership. Quarterly Members are billed when they first purchase a subscription, and then again each season for the upcoming HOMEBOX ($79 CAD). ​ Annual Members are billed when they first purchase a subscription, and then again at the start of their 5th quarter (2nd year) as a member ($276). An Annual Membership is a way to pre-pay for 4 quarters upfront at a discounted per-quarter rate. (You save $40 per year -or- $10 per box). 

CAN I BUY ONLY ONE HOMEBOX?

Since HOMEBOX is subscription based, we cannot sell boxes on a one time basis. However, if you subscribe to the quarterly plan you can unsubscribe anytime and there is no penalty or fee for cancellation.

CAN I OFFER HOMEBOX AS A GIFT?

You sure can! HOMEBOX is a nice way to treat a friend, family member, client or teacher! During checkout, simply enter the recipient’s information. You can gift them an entire year or if you only want to gift one box, since HOMEBOX is a subscription you can choose the quarterly subscription and unsubscribe at any time. There is no penalty or fee for cancellation.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

HOMEBOX purchases are non-refundable. If a product doesn’t suit your tastes, you could make a friend or family member happy with a nice surprise! Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund. If you have received a damaged product in your box, or if your box is missing a product, please message us within two (2) weeks of delivery, and we will assist you with getting the item replaced. ​ If your HOMEBOX is missing, we must be notified via email within two (2) weeks of receiving your tracking information. If HOMEBOX is not notified within that time frame, we can no longer be held accountable for the missing items and will not be able to offer a replacement or refund. All refunds are granted at the sole discretion of HOMEBOX.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY HOMEBOX?
All boxes are shipped between the 15th and the 21st of March, June, September, December. The time to have it delivered depends on your location but it should be delivered before the end of the month.
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Shipping is a flat shipping rate. Shipping within Canada is $9.99 CAD and $19.99 CAD to the US.

HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?

Once you place your order an account will be created for you.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

Login, click Settings, then Change Password. Enter your old password, your new one, confirm it and you’re done!

I CAN'T LOG IN, WHAT CAN I DO?

Check that you are using the email address you used to create your HOMEBOX account? Please check carefully. If you cannot find a solution, contact us.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD

No worries, you can easily reset your password! You just have to access to the “Forgot your password” link on the Login page. Once you’re there follow the steps to restore your password.

Subscriptions

HOW DO SUBSCRIPTIONS WORK?

When placing your order, you are creating a subscription.  Annual subscriptions are billed when you subscribe, and every year after until you cancel your subscription.  

 

Quarterly subscriptions are billed when you first subscribe, then every quarter afterwards on the 1st of March, June, September and December until you cancel your subscription. For example, if today is May 4th, you’ll be charged on May 4th and you’ll receive your first box near the end of June. You will then be charged for your next box on September 1 and will receive your next box near the end of September. The payment will be processed using the credit card entered at the time of the subscription. Annual and Quarterly Subscription Boxes will arrive near the end of March, June, September, and December

WHICH BOX WILL I RECEIVE WHEN I SUBSCRIBE?

The first box you’ll get depends on your subscription date. You have until the 1st of March, June, September and December to subscribe to get the box for that month (quarter). For example, if today is May 4th, you’ll be charged on May 4th and you’ll receive your first box near the end of June. You will then be charged for your next box on September 1 and will receive your next box near the end of September. 

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You can cancel your month to month subscription by accessing your subscription details when you log in.

WHEN CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You can cancel anytime. Please note that if you cancel before the billing cycle (on the 1st of March, June, September, and December), you will not receive any box. If you’ve already been billed for the next  box, your cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle. If you subscribed to the annual plan you will receive the full year of boxes. You may cancel anytime for upcoming years.

WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT CAN I USE?

We accept all types of credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and debit cards (as long as you can use it online). 

HOW CAN I UPDATE MY PAYMENT INFORMATION?

Simply log in, click Details, Edit Billing Details

IF I SUBSCRIBE TODAY, WHEN WILL YOU CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD?

If you choose an  Annual subscription, you will be billed immediately and you will receive your box near the end of March, June, September and December.

 

If you chose a Quarterly subscription, your card will be charged on the day you subscribed then every quarter after on the 1st of March, June, September and December. For example, if today is May 4th, you’ll be charged on May 4th and you’ll receive your first box near the end of June. You will then be charged for your next box on September 1 and will receive your next box near the end of September. The payment will be processed using the credit card entered at the time of subscription.

I GOT AN EMAIL ABOUT AN ISSUE CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Don’t panic, this email is to let you know we couldn’t charge your card this month. Maybe there is a problem with your card. Contact us and we’ll be happy to help you fix it!
